Jenise Daigle, DVM

Dr. Jenise Daigle grew up in Arkansas and attended the University of Central Arkansas for her undergraduate degree in General Science. She received her DVM from Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine and stayed at LSU to complete her dermatology internship and 2-year dermatology residency, receiving extensive training in the diagnosis and treatment of allergic skin diseases, ear diseases, skin cancer, infectious skin diseases, endocrinopathies and immune-mediated skin diseases in dogs, cats, pocket pets and large animals. 

Dr. Daigle gained Diplomate status with the American College of Veterinary Dermatology (ACVD) in 2001. She practiced veterinary dermatology briefly in Florida before making Austin, Texas, her home in 2002 and founding Austin Veterinary Dermatology & Allergy. She has been serving the needs of pet owners and referring veterinarians in Austin and much of central Texas since.

Dr. Daigle enjoys building relationships with her clients and takes pride in her ability to help pet parents understand their pet’s condition and what they can do to improve their pet’s quality of life. She loves the clinical practice of veterinary dermatology and her areas of special interest include otitis, allergic skin diseases and immune-mediated skin diseases.

Fun Facts:

Dr. Daigle briefly considered becoming a dentist before deciding to follow her true passion, veterinary medicine. When she is not practicing, Dr. Daigle spends time with her 2 girls, Avery and Alexa, and her dog, Gauge. She is an avid runner and enjoys traveling.
