Endya High, DVM

Diplomate, American College of Veterinary Dermatology

Dr. Endya High was born and raised in Bowie, Maryland. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science from Tuskegee University in 2011 and stayed in Alabama for an additional 4 years to complete her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2015. 

Dr. High went back to the Northeast in 2016 to complete a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at VCA SouthPaws in Fairfax, Virginia. She then completed a dermatology internship in 2017 at Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University in Grafton, Massachusetts. 

In the summer of 2017, Dr. High relocated to the Southeast to complete a dermatology residency at North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina and in 2020, became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Dermatology. She relocated to Southern California in August of 2020 to practice at VCA AVCC and started with ADG in September 2023. 

Dr. High’s special interests in dermatology include atopic dermatitis, otitis, multi-drug resistant Staphylococcal infections, and auto-immune skin conditions.

Fun Facts:

She has 2 dogs (a bulldog/boxer mix named Bowzer and a Frenchie named Tyson) and 2 cats (a orange tabby named Cokely and a new polydactyl cat named Thumbelina). Her hobbies during residency included cooking and playing video games, but she hopes to explore roller skating, long walks on the beach, and other traditional California activities!
