Joon Ra, DVM
Resident, American College of Veterinary Dermatology
Dr. Joon Ra was born in Seoul, South Korea, and raised in Southern California. He completed his undergraduate studies at UC Davis, earning a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science in 2016. For the next three years, he worked as a veterinary assistant at Animal Dermatology Clinic - Tustin, where he discovered his passion for veterinary dermatology. He went on to attend Ross University, obtaining his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree in 2023. Following his graduation, Dr. Ra practiced as a general practitioner for one year.

Fun Facts:
While studying veterinary medicine on an island, Dr. Ra became a certified scuba diver and has since enjoyed several shark dives. In his free time, he enjoys hiking and exploring new restaurants.
