Dr. Greener grew up on Long Island, NY volunteering at a local public animal shelter since age 12. He knew since he was very young that he was destined to be a veterinarian. He graduated from the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry in Syracuse, NY with a bachelor's degree in Environmental Biology.
He then attended the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, College of Veterinary Medicine. Here he decided after 4 years of living in the snowiest city (Syracuse) and 4 years living in the windiest state (Illinois) that he wanted to move to the west coast where the weather is beautiful all year round. After working in general practice for two years in the Bay Area, he realized how many pets are affected by skin-related illnesses. He fell in love with his itchy patients and decided to pursue a dermatology internship. His goals are to build a strong bond with his patients and clients and strives to create a low-stress environment.

Dr. Greener was surrounded by dogs growing up. In vet school, once Covid hit, he adopted Boba, his one-eyed black cat from a local animal shelter. When he isn’t working with animals you can find him hiking outdoors, traveling the world, or just cuddling up with his one-eyed panther watching Netflix.
