Externship Program

Animal Dermatology Group is proud to have the largest and most diverse community of veterinary dermatologists of any private company in the world with practices in 14 states and state of the art facilities.

Education is a critical and ongoing part of the ADG family with an active residency program in many different locations and a collaborative platform that promotes professional development and camaraderie. Externships play an important role in ADG practices, are available at most locations and are open to 3^rd and 4^th year veterinary students, veterinary interns and current residents.

Animal Dermatology Clinics are equipped with the latest in technology and equipment including CO2 laser, video otoscopy, multiheaded training microscopes and more.

High volume dermatology case load.

Animal Dermatology Clinics are busy practices seeing a wide variety of skin and ear diseases from routine allergy management to complex immune mediated disease.

Hands on training in dermatology diagnostics.

Students have the opportunity to observe and practice skills crucial to any type of practice including comprehensive dermatology exam, proper otoscopic exam, appropriate sampling and microscopic cytology interpretation.
