We are excited to announce that Animal Dermatology Clinic - Bonita Springs has merged with Animal Dermatology and Allergy, a respected local clinic, as part of our ongoing commitment to providing the highest level of veterinary dermatological care. As a result of this merger, our Bonita Springs location will be moving to a new facility in Estero as of October 23, 2024 located at 9220 Estero Park Commons Blvd, Suite 3, Estero, FL 33928,
Dr. Glen Burkett, board-certified since 1996, and Dr. Leigh Burkett, an exceptional hospital administrator who has focused on practice management since 2001, bring a wealth of experience and leadership to the Estero practice. Together, they have been providing dermatological and allergy care to Southwest Florida for over two decades, having founded Animal Dermatology and Allergy in early 2000.
We would also like to take this opportunity to recognize Dr. Christina Restrepo, who will be retiring after years of compassionate service to the Bonita Springs community. We thank her for her contributions and wish her the best in her retirement.
Important Health Alert: For your convenience, you will still be able to access your pet’s medical records, schedule appointments, and request prescription refills at both the new Estero clinic and our Bradenton location, where Drs. Scott and Hernandez will continue to provide care. If you have an upcoming appointment, we will be reaching out to confirm your preferred location for follow-up care.
